Terms of use

What you may do with this site’s pages and figures, and what needs permission first. In effect from October 12, 2026.

What you are welcome to do

Read the site, in a browser, for your own use. Link to any page. Quote a figure or a short passage, or share a screenshot, as long as you credit OddPuck and link to the page it came from.

Search engines and link previewers may fetch pages as the site’s robots.txt file allows, and no further than it allows.

What needs permission first

Unless you have written permission, you may not:

  • collect the site’s pages or figures with a scraper, a crawler, a headless browser or any other automated tool, beyond what robots.txt allows;
  • copy the site’s figures in bulk, or rebuild its tables or boards from them;
  • republish, resell or redistribute what you collected, or use it to train a model;
  • get around a limit the site sets: a block, a rate limit, a browser check or a sign-in, or the use of many addresses to stay under any of them;
  • send requests at a rate, or in a pattern, that gets in the way of other readers.

To ask for permission, write to hello@oddpuck.com and say what you want to collect and what for.

What the figures are

OddPuck is a personal research site. Its projections, ratings and probabilities are model estimates and research results. They are not betting advice, and the site never recommends a bet.

The figures are offered as they are, with no promise that they are accurate, complete or current, and you use them at your own risk. The site may change, or be unavailable, at any time.

OddPuck is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NHL, any club, or any sportsbook. NHL and club marks belong to their owners, and a headline shown from another outlet belongs to that outlet.

If these terms are broken

Access may be slowed, limited or blocked, without notice, for any visitor, address or network that breaks these terms. Using the site means accepting them.

The terms may change. The date at the top of this page is the day the current ones took effect.
